Peter Lowman Managing Director plowman@gcaps.com	Peter Lowman brings to GCaps a wealth of experience in the field of maritime and land transportation, including trans-oceanic container and break-bulk shipping, passenger transportation, international trade and governmental relations. Peter has specific experience in terminal operations, vessel operation, accounting and marketing related to marine transportation. His experience is truly global, has included residing in Italy and Greece, and included managing relationships with governmental and port authorities in the U.S. and foreign countries. Mr. Lowman has carried on extensive business relationships with the U.S. Department of Defense, the Department of State, U.S. Customs, and the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

	Mr. Lowman was a senior executive and general manager at Farrell Lines in New York City and previously country manager based in the Mediterranean. Those assignments helped him forge valuable business relationships in Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Israel and Egypt, as well as in countries and markets of Northern Africa and the Middle East. As country manager, his responsibilities included budgeting, marketing, scheduling and monitoring vessel movement, and terminal and rail operations. He is a merchant mariner and a past recipient of the United Seaman Service Admiral of the Ocean Seas Mariners' Award. He has sailed extensively in the regions of Australia/New Zealand, West/South/East Africa, the U.S. Gulf Coast and the Caribbean.
